Wanted: High School Diploma Students

The students at Monmouth/Winthrop Adult Education are doing so well they are graduating faster than we can bring new students in! Earn your diploma in as little as a few weeks.  With two paths and flexible scheduling, it is easier than ever to earn your credential.

One way to earn your diploma is via the Adult Education Diploma route, where 20 credits are earned the old fashioned way - in the classroom.  Life and work experience may be counted for credit and credits earned while in school can be transferred in.  If you dropped out of school due to a documented learning disability or other reason, this is an excellent choice.

The second route is to take the High School Equivalency Test (HiSET). The HiSET consists of five tests: Reading, Writing, Math, Science and Social Studies. In class, students brush up on test topics and take practice tests in preparation for the actual diploma tests. HiSET prep class is offered every Tuesday evening year round at our Winthrop location and students can start at any time.

If you have, "Get my High School Diploma" on your "To Do" list, call 377-2265 and make an appointment to discuss your options with a trained and caring staff member.
